Attorney-General John Rau said today he had carefully considered whether to refer the past behaviour of lawyer Eugene McGee to the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal.

The Attorney-General’s consideration of the issue came after the Legal Practitioners Conduct Board decided against referring the matter to the tribunal for consideration.
